Ad.Fargo ("we", "us", "our") is a creative decision engine for paid ads operated by Xyle Technologies Private Limited. Our website is located at adfargo.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Hashed password (for email/password sign-ups)
- Google account profile information (for Google OAuth sign-ups)
2.2 Content You Upload
When you use our analysis, generation, or studio features, we store:
- Ad creative images you upload for analysis or as brand logos
- Ad copy text you provide
- Audience descriptions and targeting information
- AI-generated analysis results, scores, and creative outputs
- Generated ad images
2.3 Workspace and Brand Data
If you create a workspace and provide a website URL, we may:
- Crawl publicly available pages on your website to extract brand voice, tone, colors, and style information
- Store extracted brand knowledge (text tone, visual style, audience data) to personalise your ad outputs
- Store your brand logo and suggested logos detected from your website
2.4 Meta (Facebook) Ads Data
If you connect your Meta Ads account, we access:
- Ad account identifiers and connected Facebook Pages
- Campaign, ad set, and ad metadata necessary to publish creatives on your behalf
- We do not store your Meta access tokens beyond what is necessary for active session operations
- We do not sell, share, or use your Meta data for any purpose other than providing the Ad.Fargo service to you
2.5 Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Run usage counts and plan information
- Feature interaction data for improving the product
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Ad.Fargo platform
- To analyse your ad creatives and generate improved versions using AI
- To personalise outputs based on your workspace and brand context
- To publish ads to connected ad platforms on your behalf (only when you explicitly request it)
- To manage your account, billing, and credit usage
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, creative completion notifications)
- To improve our product and fix issues
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Ad.Fargo:
- OpenAI — AI text generation and image generation. Your ad content and brand briefs are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Google Cloud Storage — Secure storage for uploaded and generated images.
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — Database hosting for account and creative data.
- Vercel — Application hosting and deployment.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery.
- Trigger.dev — Background task execution for AI operations.
- Dodo Payments — Payment processing for paid plans.
- Meta Platform — If you connect your Meta account, we interact with Meta's Marketing API to publish ads on your behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and creative outputs for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual creatives from the Runs page at any time. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data (creatives, workspaces, usage records, and uploaded images) within 30 days.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. You can:
- Delete individual creatives and workspaces from within the application
- Request full account and data deletion by visiting our Data Deletion page
- Email us at privacy@adfargo.com to request data deletion
When you delete your data or account, we permanently remove all associated records from our database and delete uploaded/generated images from our storage within 30 days. Data that has already been processed by third-party AI services (e.g. OpenAI) is subject to their respective retention policies.
7. Meta Platform Data
In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, we provide the following disclosures:
- We only access Meta data that you explicitly authorise during the OAuth connection flow
- We use Meta data solely to publish ad creatives to your connected ad accounts and display relevant account information within Ad.Fargo
- We do not sell, license, or share your Meta data with any third party
- We do not use Meta data for purposes unrelated to Ad.Fargo's core functionality
- You can revoke Ad.Fargo's access to your Meta account at any time through Facebook Settings > Business Integrations
- Upon disconnection or account deletion, we delete all Meta-related data from our systems within 30 days
- You can request deletion of your Meta-related data via our Data Deletion page or the callback URL we provide to Meta
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords
- Database connections use SSL with certificate verification
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and scoped to minimum necessary permissions
- Uploaded images are stored in private cloud storage with signed URL access
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format

10. Children's Privacy
Ad.Fargo is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Ad.Fargo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
